Market Fact: Warehousing demand in Iraq is growing fast, with Baghdad warehouse occupancy reaching nearly 92%. Securing your storage space now puts you ahead of the competition—and Masar Logistics gives you that advantage.

Why Warehousing in Iraq Is More Important Than Ever

With Iraq’s rapidly growing import market, importing goods is only half the job—you need secure storage and efficient distribution to protect your investment.
Without a proper warehouse, businesses face three major risks:
01 Port & Airport Demurrage:
Without a ready warehouse, shipments sit at Umm Qasr or airports. Storage demurrage accumulates fast, often costing $50 to $200 per day per container or shipment.
02 Loss & Inventory Damage:
Storing goods in unmanaged or informal spaces leads to mixed up, lost, or damaged cargo.
03 Slow & Costly Distribution:
Unsystematic cargo delays delivery to your customers and increases operational costs.
Masar Logistics solves all three problems. We provide a fully managed warehousing operation that connects your incoming imports directly to your local distribution.

Our Process

Here is exactly what happens when your goods arrive at a Masar Logistics warehouse in Iraq — and how they flow through to your customers or distribution points:
Step 1 — Pre-Advice Notification
Before your goods arrive, you send us the packing list and expected delivery details. We prepare the receiving team, allocate the right storage area, and set up your SKU records in the inventory system.
Step 2 — Inbound Receiving & Inspection
Goods arrive by truck from the port, airport, or border. Our team unloads the truck, counts every carton, and inspects for damage. Everything is compared against your packing list—with photos taken and any discrepancy reported to you the same day.
Step 3 — Put-Away & Stock Recording
Each item is labelled, recorded in the WMS, and placed in its designated location. Pallet racking positions are assigned by SKU. You receive a goods receipt confirmation within 24 hours showing exactly what was put into storage.
Step 4 — Ongoing Storage & Inventory Reporting
Your stock is stored securely. You can request a stock report at any time via WhatsApp or email, and we will send you a real-time balance showing every SKU and quantity. Weekly or monthly scheduled reports are also available.
Step 5 — Order Receipt & Pick Instruction
You send us your dispatch order via WhatsApp, email, or integrated system. We pick the right products from stock, confirm quantities, and prepare the shipment for packing and dispatch.
Step 6 — Pick, Pack & Label
Items are picked, packed into the correct packaging, and labelled with delivery details or required Arabic product labels. A consignment note is prepared, following any special packing instructions from your business.
Step 7 — Dispatch & Land Transport Handoff
Packed goods are handed off to our land transport team for delivery. Because Masar Logistics handles both warehousing and trucking, there are no delays from coordinating between separate providers. Goods dispatched by noon are typically on the road the same afternoon.
